David Zinczenko and Peter Moore are the authors of The
8-Hour Diet, in which they present a plan on how to lose weight by
eating what you desire, and you can lose weight. They say that if you follow
the instructions, you can lose extra pounds.
There are cycles of eight hours when you can eat everything
and cycles of 16 hours when you eat literally nothing. And this should be
applied every day.
The instructions are to eat only from 9 o’clock in the
morning till 5 o’clock in the afternoon or from 11 o’clock in the morning till
7 o’clock in the evening, because the body is able to digest food more easily.
Within 16 hours the human body should rest, rather than
digest food.
Many diet supporters say the perfect time is from 9 in the
morning to 5 in the afternoon. However, the period from 8 in the morning to 4
in the afternoon or from 10 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon is not unusual
as well.
Whatever the period you choose, it is important to consume
the needed daily calories within the chosen period. Eat as much as you think is
appropriate, but do not exaggerate with the quantities. Also, you can consume
sweets and alcoholic beverages, but in moderation.
If you skip a breakfast because of many obligations, drink a
cup of tea or coffee and when you have the time start your 8-hour cycle of
nutrition. Snacks are allowed and can be consumed during all 8 hours.
To get all the essential nutrients, you need the 8-Hour
Powerfoods.
A perfect snack example would be hummus with carrots, yogurt
with blueberries, green salad with walnuts. You may also have bowl of yogurt
with some berries and cup of chili with a side salad.
It is important to consume lean protein, fiber, healthy
fats, which will help your body build lean muscle, burn off flab, and fend off
hunger.
You should also include brightly colored fruits and
vegetables high in vitamins and minerals which will improve your mood, help
ward off disease, and help you think faster and more clearly.
Of course, it is better to consume mostly natural products.
Try to reduce the industrial, factory-made products. The book authors also
advise you to do 30 minute physical exercises every day.
Try to avoid refined carbs such as baked goods, sugar, white
bread, rice, pasta, saturated and trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup.
This is the favorite diet of the food lovers. I’m sure you
will love it, too.
